Hello Feng Shui nation. In this week’s video you’re going to see me do a quick demonstration on how I fix my client’s office desk.
Now for this specific space, before my client decided to go for the space we obviously did a feng shui review of it. We made sure that there are prosperous qi, auspicious qi, not just financially for the business but also harmonious for the staff and other business relationships. And so we did a review of the feng shui before my client signed the dotted line to take over this space. And based on the layout, also help my client determine what the best room to use as his office is. Now when I fix my client’s bed, stove or desk positioning I start first and foremost with flying star feng shui and depending on what the space will allow i will then add layers of more advanced feng shui which is usually six methods feng shui.
Now for this specific space, before my client decided to go for the space we obviously did a feng shui review of it. We made sure that there are prosperous chi, auspicious chi, not just financially for the business but also harmonious for the staff and other business relationships. And so we did a review of the feng shui before my client signed the dotted line to take over this space. And based on the layout, also help my client determine what the best room to use as his office is. Now when I fix my client’s bed stove or desk positioning, I start first and foremost with Flying Star feng shui and depending on what the space will allow, I will then add layers of more advanced feng shui which is usually six methods feng shui or Liu Fa and Xuan Kong Da Gua.
So they just moved in, they haven’t brought in everything yet but we have a desk. So that’s the most important thing. First things first is the desk itself so we are going to and so this is the desk for now, we may change it down the road depending on the client. And the office desk is sorry, office door is there and this happens to be the money door based on the period and facing of this building. So I am measuring the facing of the desk to see what is the width of the desk so it’s about 60 inches so I’m going to mark the middle point of this desk which is 30 inches so I’ve marked it with a sticky note here okay so I’m going to and so the sticky notes got like a little thing here because obviously I don’t want to be drawing the middle point on the client’s beautiful antique desk.
And then next I’m going to figure out the middle point of the door that’s 17. So here so this is the middle point of the door and I’m going to use the sticky note to help me. Note that on the door so now I’m going to match up the middle point of the sticky note of this door to the middle point of the door itself with this. Which is the chi amount that comes into this and for that I’m going to be using this handy dandy tool here which people use in the construction area so if I’m basically using this to line up the compass, the right compass direction. So you can you can see that there’s like a laser there so this will help me in terms of doing my compass reading.
So right now I’m matching at the center point of the desk to the door so basically I’m going to make sure that the two center lines aligned and then I’m going take a compass reading.
This is a really big desk so it’s a little I’m going to be doing some acrobatics.
As I mentioned earlier flying star wise, this door in reference to this whole room brings the strongest money energy to the room and that is based on calculations that I did, based on period and facing up the building. And in Liu Fa or the six methods, you guys saw how I did the central midpoint of the desk.
And the midpoint of the door the alignment here aligns the desk to a particular 15 degrees of southeast right. Those of you who follow classical feng shui, you’re going to know that southeast has 45 degrees but in Liu Fa I determined that there is a particular 15 degrees in the southeast that is good in to align the desk with. And in Xuan Kong Da Gua, I further took that 15 degrees of southeast and I picked the best five degrees to align with both the sitting hexagram of the building and the hexagram of the client’s date of birth. So this placement takes into account: the building, the client’s date of birth and also the direction of the energy that is coming in which is coming in through that door.
Now we are going to fix the facing which is the leading edge of the desk to be the optimal facing for the client so I’m going to just put this on the face inside. So right now this desk is facing south three 198 degrees which hexagram wise eight nine. And for this one in terms of Xuan Kong Da Gua, I aligned the desk to be the most supportive to the client’s date of birth so means this supports him and it also has an auspicious facing in Xuan Kong Da Gua. And in terms of flying star, having my client face this direction is also auspicious for the next three years. So this is how even though you’re doing different methods of feng shui, they can really complement each other. It doesn’t happen all the time. But when I can get Flying Star, Xuan Kong Da Gua and Liu Fa when I can get two out of three, I’m happy.
So these are the things that we check when we do a proper advanced feng shui placement for the client.
