About Me

My name is Safrina Kadri, mother of a beautiful 4-year-old, and wife of a faithful and spiritual man. I’m also a feng shui practitioner based out of Toronto, Canada but have also served clients internationally.

I am honoured to be the 6th generation disciple under the lineage of the Grand Master Tang Yang Wu, learning from precious pages of 1 of the 2 remaining textbooks he wrote back in 1922 ( the rest didn’t survive Japanese occupation of China when the books were ordered to be burned ).  Having completed the Master Programme for Xuan Kong Feng Shui I am proud to be part of this school that promotes classical feng shui, where a lot of feng shui myths are dispelled and more can be done to help the client before they are told that nothing can be done to remedy their challenges and they need to just move out.

My mission is to help make feng shui more accessible to enthusiasts in North America who find it hard to get good advise based on pure feng shui, and to be their advisor as well as friend so they get exactly what they need, personalized to their charts, as opposed to what a book tells them what generally works. And this website will be the vehicle for me to start spreading the message that feng shui works – if you work it right!

I believe feng shui to be an outer tool where you manipulate how you want the energy of your surroundings to align with the results that you want in your life, be it career, money, relationships, health etc. But I also strongly believe that if you combine feng shui with inner tools such as mantras, meditation, visualization, positive self-image, energy healing etc, you will really empower yourself and your journey of manifesting that which you desire. So don’t be surprised if you see links and resources to these inner tools so that you can fully use your power to manifest to start living your best life.

To getting better and better!

Much love and light,
Safrina Kadri

  1. Hello! This is my 1st comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and tell you I truly enjoy reading your blog. Can you recommend any other blogs/websites/forums that cover the same topics?

    • Hi! Thanks so much for your comments. I personally think a great feng shui resource is about.com’s feng shui forum. Lots of great sharing of knowledge there. :)

  2. I’m not sure exactly why but this website is loading extremely slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my end? I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.

  3. I don’t even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was great. I do not know who you are but certainly you’re going to a famous blogger if you are not already ;) Cheers!

  4. I wish more people would write blogs like this that are really fun to read. With all the fluff floating around on the net, it is rare to read a blog like this instead.

    • Thank you! While I do believe there’s a lot of fluff out there, I now realize that most times it’s not an intentional thing. As Maya Angelou stated and I paraphrase, the better we know, the better we do. :)

    • Yes it is! Feng shui wouldn’t have stayed alive for thousands of years if it didn’t. It wouldn’t have such a huge following in modern times if it didn’t. Trick is to do it the right way, and there’s many out there ( I used to be one of them ) who were practising feng shui on a level not deep and not effective enough that I didn’t see much results. But it’s not in the knowledge being false. It’s in the wrong application. This is my mission to right the myths, and hopefully this blog is achieving a little bit of that.
